X-Box, Death Row . Good or Shite?

I was going to pick this one up after reading IGns 9.2 review of it, but Ive noticed some other sources really hate it?
XBM for instance gave it 3/10

Any opinions??

the game is ruined by the camera. See, it follows your player rather than the disc, which often makesyou lose concetration iof what's going on. The game mechanincs arent' bad and the graphics are decent, and you cxan sue your own soundtracks, oh and it also has the 'motherfucker' button. press it to swear at the other team, guarnteed to send 13 year old boys into a frenzy.

If you want to find out how it is before blowing the big 50 purchase this months xbox mag they got a demo of it.

I played the demo and thought it was fun. Gameplay seemed a little shallow and could get repititive but Id buy it for 30 maybe 40 and never 50.

I want a new game to play over the pissed bit of Xmas, while the mrs is watching the constant Eastenders/any bloody soap opera omnibus.
So you can see why I need some violence.

Odd when I first heard of this game I thought it was some death match fighting game. Not a Hyper Blade type sports kill people game. I wasn't to impressed with the demo you get with the latest XBox mag.
But I would say check out the demo and see for yourself.
