Arizona dumps USC, claims PAC-10 Tourney Crown!!!

Subject says it all.

Stoudamire OWNED today, dropping rainbows from all over the court, lookin like his cousin Damon.

Still wish the Cats had won it against Oregon, as that was the only PAC-10 team we lost to twice this season, but oh well.

Good luck to ALL the PAC-10 teams in the Big Dance! Show 'em what the West is all about!

PS- If UCLA had any brains, they'd dump Lil Riley and try to steal Henry Bibby away from USC. They've been slowly improving every year, and its scary to think what he could do with the kind of talent UCLA wastes every year. (Today's technical foul-getting nail-in-the-coffin tantrum aside.)

First time since '85, no less. Congrats! I also read that UCSB of all school was able to sneap in via a conference tourney.

Tsk, tsk. C'mon Bobak. You gotta give my Cats credit, they could have easily packed it in after a very rough first half. SC was playing some wicked defense, but the Wildcats hung tough in the 'neutral'(BULLSHIT!) Staples Center and got the job done. This definitely won't be an early 90's vintage 1st round Arizona flameout. These guys have serious heart, and have won every mini-tournament (Preseason New York NIT, Fiesta Bowl Classic) they've played in this season. They're playing their best basketball RIGHT NOW. SC has a great trio of senior leaders with Clancy, Buthenthal and Granville, and I think both our teams should at least reach the Sweet 16. Hopefully the rest of the PAC kicks ass too.

Hopefully both ASU and UCLA will get shuffled off to the NIT, hehe. Doubt UCLA will though. If you want to pick a 1st round flameout, try the Bruins.
