The other night it was shutting down and being the person that i am i went to sleep as it was turning off cuz its one of those machines that turns off automatically. Well i wake up the next morning and I find out the fucker was still on... it was stuck on the windows is shutting down screen. I tried to restart it and it wouldnt do so. I finally shut it off by shutting off the power... so i come back after my first day of school and everytime windows starts up i get a "blue screen of death" it happened like about 50 times and we called up a friend who was good with computers and it turns out it basically melted down. The processor burned out causing everything else to burn out as well.. I think the only salvageable piece was the graphics card... I lost every fucking thing i had (5000 songs, 5 gigs of good porn, every file and hw i did, my whole fucking game list as well as some games)and right now im on a spare machine for the time being.... someone set up a "help the frame gride fund" help help help

If your processor died, usually your harddrive isnt touched. You can always take it out, put it on another machine as a slave drive and copy the contents over to another machine.

we opened up the computer ourselves and i also checked the computer and it seems the hard drive was corrupted after i got those blue screen of deaths crying crying crying crying

Im up a fucking creek... Were going to order a new one but losing everything sets me back so much. I had like 60 gigs worth of stuff on there and it was an 80 gig drive frown

do you still have the harddrive? If you do, I have a recovery shop that may be able to get most of it for you

they have technics in recovering any data from teh drives. My buddy works there so all you would have to pay for is shipping both ways and a good lunch for me. I could then at your decision put the info on cds or on another harddrive.

all you have to do is, open the case, disconnect the ide cable (usually gray and wide) and the power sonnector including the screws that hold it in. Either way, let me know
