It eats up batteries like there's no tomorrow.

Your better off getting a GBA sp.

Did Sega ever re-release some of its old Gen collection for the GBA?

The only justification I could see is using a lighter adapter in a car to play NHL 94 on the road.

Better yet, but a portable tv and use a Genesis.

Just my 2 cents.

I like it <img src="http://www.neo-geo.com/ubb/icons/icon14.gif" alt=" - " /> ... Not only because it looks nice to me on that screen, not only cause it's an ultra-delux portable. But because it also can play japanese megadrive games if you put them in right. Also it's got alot of memories for me crying .

Do you want a portable Genesis?

If = yes than it is worth it.

If = no than it is not worth it.

Really, it is a very basic thing.

i play it once in a blue moon
at nite. its backlit so its fine
to do in the dark.
theres blur issues i guess.
if you want a portable genny then its cool.
personally,
and this is just a growing trend constrained to me,
i havent been up on playing handheld systems,
just like playing it on a tv screen better.

This sums it up pretty well, and its as simple as that. All old-technology portables eat batteries, Lynx, Nomad, Turbo Express, that's a given.

But if you like Genesis games, and have a need/want for portable play, then yes its worth getting. Why just last nite, I fired up my Nomad to play Devilish and Blades of Vengance while my GF watched that "For love or for money" show.

I gave the GBA SP a try. Great system, a few great games but I'd rather spend my money on NEO stuff.

Get a GP32 and wait for the Genny emu scene to improve. It is a perfect TG16/PCE handheld at the moment.
