This occured to me while a few days ago as something not towards who are my friends exactly, but who's posts I consider the most interesting to read, be they friends, enemies, or members I've never had a conversation with (including mods and the webmaster).
They are either because their posts are informative, interesting, or simply amusing to read, regardless of the subject or thread. In general, it's they're ideas and how they're presented:
LOOPZ-Knows his games like nobody's business and is hands down the best disser on the board. Get into a posting war with him, and you'll end up the laughing stock (luckily, I don't have firsthand experience)
CAPPADONNA (TONK)-Never met the fellow but his no-nonsense attitude and refusal to follow the pack is a man after my own heart.
TARMA-Good friend and active member has a way with words that makes you feel good, even though he's actually insulted you
NEO RASA-Made me laugh out loud with his posts more than anyone else. Passionate collector, it seems.
NICKD-Knowledgable gamer who stands up for his beliefs, regardless of the odds.
SPINMASTER X-Very funny with his posts and very good at disturbing shit. A fine line between interesting and annoying that he balances very well.
RAREHERO-Eddie is a great seller (the Alamo still hangs on my office wall!) and his writing style is dubious, but always interesting.
CHIMPMEISTER-Passionate collector and gamer who never walks into a fight without all the facts. Seems to have many enemies, but no one can deny his knowledge
KID APHEX-All his posts are funny and generally, one of the nicest members I've ever met. Ray could butter up the Devil. He's THAT likable.
BUSTER BROON-My best friend here. I defy anyone to NOT like him. Has an incredible knack for posting his thoughts and everyone respecting them, agreeable or not. No one is as helpful, either.
RYO GEO-Of all the mods, seems to be the most informative with the fewest posts next to Mouse Master. Straight and to the point, although with an ego the size of a planet.
NICK_THE_FURY-Always interesting with his knowledge and loves a good scrap
JHENDRIX-Another in the few on the board who knows how to argue with facts and passion without resorting to childish insults. Knowledgeable and seems to be incredibly friendly to those he allows.
Understand, that I'm not trying to alienate friends, but merely give kudos to those who make this site truly interesting and who seem to generate a response by not only me, but others.
Since I can't think of everyone, I've posted those that are most obvious to me and may add to the list.
EDIT: Added JHendrix (How can I forget? :o ) and gave reasons why (since everyone else is doing it).
