Anyone here play Warcraft III?

I wouldn't mind finding some people to play with. Particularly I would love it if some of you were good at the game and could teach me how to play well. I played a ton back in July but haven't started playing again til today and I keep getting beaten. My account name is dmhawkmoon. I was surprised that it hadn't been deleted actually. It's been so long!

Well, if anyone would want to help me out a bit and play sometime let me know.

I've stopped playing for a bit (finals suck) and the game gets REALLY hard for me as I progress in levels on BNet.

I'm going to pick it up again this Friday and Sat. at the LAN party I'm going to, if I can get back into it, I'll IM you or whatever.

Cool. I have finals too and as we speak I'm in the midst of writing a 20 page essay, but I took a break and decided to give WC3 a go.

I am trying to play as humans but I never know what to shoot for. I've tried a bunch of strats and it never seems to work out well for me.

I've played hundreds of games on Wc3, I perfer UD but I tend to play them all. I play on USwest reply if your interested in playing with me.

Oh yeah, I'm on USEast....

Finally found a good strat that won me two games. I used to be really afraid to go on the offensive and sit around building up for a while. Last two games I won by sending in an archmage ASAP with blizzard and annoying the guy. While that was happening I would build tons of footmen and then rush him. First guy only took one rush, second guy hung around for a while but after causing him much grief I switched over to knights and riflemen and the nail in his coffin was my steam tanks. Those things just rip through buildings like nothing.

I play alot on US east. I go by EvilMaiku. I play orcs mostly. My record kinda sucks though like 70-100(though 20 or so losses are because my Firewall hates Warcraft III)

I know Shawn plays at one point he offered to give you a Slug 4 cart if he beats you. Though if you lose you have to buy a Sengoku 3 cart.
