Just buy a cheap second hand original for like 20 bucks.

I have mine on preorder. FFT was the last FF game that I really really got into. I cant wait.

I REALLY want this game but I'd have to at least buy a GBA player first. Still, I really wish they'd make an FFT for either the PS2 or GC, but this may be the closest we ever get.

Got mine on preorder! Basically what i bought my Hori Pad and GBA player for!

Is'nt FFTA the first GBA game that has an optimized mode for the GBA player?

Yes it is. There is a thing in the System Options menu to adjust the color levels. One is LCD 1, the other is LCD 2, and the last is TV.

Im assuming LCD 1 is the normal GBA setting since its default, LCD 2 is SP settings, and TV is for the GBA Player.

Im actually buying it when I get some money its that good. Cant say that for many other GBA games thats for sure.

So i just bought Disgaea and now FFTA is coming out! Pure gaming bliss. I'll be picking up a copy of FFTA, although probably not that bunndle Nesagwa linked too. I too can't wait to test this out on my Gameboy player with my Hori pad!

I've been waiting for this game... One store flyer says it comes Mon, Sept. 8; the other, Tues, Sept. 9.... I'm workin' in both days so I hope they put out the games early...

I heard from a friend that works at Gamestop that they will retail it for 39.99. What the hell? They must think an awful lot of the title to pop it up ten bucks from regular GBA titles. Maybe development cost was just high or something, hell if I know. I did pick up a free walmart F-Zero poster when I was buying F-Zero and it has some upcoming games listed. FFTA was listed for 29.96 there. The Walmart here is really good about getting games on time, if so I'll pick it up there. Don't know if I can wait an extra week though if not.

Ebgames.com has a pre-order price of $34.99 and walmart has it listed on thier website as $29.79. I hope wal mart keeps it at $30 as i don't have $40 to buy a new gameboy game.
