If any of you missed out on the N64 gems (and...y'know, frankly I can see why you would...it was on the N64. And if there's a black sheep to a video game collection...I still loved him) you really should check them out when they hit the GameCube. Mario Tennis is HIGHLY addictive and I remember playing that for weeks on end when it came out.

Can't wait!

I tried Mario Tennis at my friend's store. I found it enjoyable, but I prefer Virtua Tennis. The wacky characters and blend of abilities were nice, though. :)

Didn't the company that made Mario Tennis also make Shining Force? That game was pretty damn cool... I'll be sure to get it for GC. I never played Mario Golf though, was it any good?

Camelot made Mario Tennis.

Yeah, I liked Mario Golf. I liked Tennis more (it's a GREAT party game).

I have Mario Golf for GBC and it's great. Wish only I had someone to play with.

BioMotor makes a good point, this is a good game, but Virtua Tennis is better.

Rented Mario Tennis, and enjoyed it immensely.

I agree with Bio, I still like Virtual tennis a bit more tho.

I hope Nintendo gets on the ball with some original software soon...

Remakes of Super Smash Bros, Mario Golf, Mario Tennis? *sigh*

It's the N64-Mark2 at this rate...

C'mon, Nintendo, quit being so lazy on the GCN Front!

Mario Golf was good (though I prefer Hot Shot's slightly more realistic approach), but I never did get into Mario Tennis. Hitting the ball was just a little to frustrating sometimes...
