ouch, that sucks. i had to put my first dog down about a year ago. best thing to do, get another dog as soon as possible.

I'm sure he lived a good life and was treated very well, and that's the most important thing.

Saddest part about our animal companions is that they do live much shorter lives, so we often have to say goodbye far too many times to our beloved friends. I know I've seen my fair share of pets go, and it's never easy, but as long as you remember the good times you had it's all good.

I'll send a prayer out for Lighting, may he rest in peace.

That dog was soooooo fucking annoying, but he was a good dog.

I bet you wish you heard that yapping right now.

Sorry to hear it Will, my first cat died at the age of 18, 2 months ago.

I miss her.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss... It can't be easy to say goodbye to a good companion... dogs are just so much more than pets to me.

I hope you pull through ok and it doesn't darken your Christmas too much.

I just got a kitten myself and on our first trip to the vet we find out that she's going to die because of a heart condition at any time.

We decided to keep her and try our best to give her the happiest life possible.

It's a sad world sometime. <img src="graemlins/ohno.gif" border="0" alt="[Oh No]" />

she had cancer and was diagnosed with lymphnodia (sp) cancer in the lymphnodes (sp) and we had her on medication for a few weeks, and even then the doctor told us it would be a matter of time untill she worked up a tolerance for the medication...
