I don't even know if I can be helped.
I have a job interview on Wednesday and I'm doing a photorealistic light bulb in Illustrator (yeah, it sounds boring, but you try doing chrome, glass and shadows in vector art and we'll talk).
For unknown reasons the files will not open (the current save and the previous archived save). I'm guessing one of two things may be the problem.
1) Too much gradient mesh, although I didn't think I used too much, it might be.
2) the image I was using for reference is a large jpeg. Maybe that's standing in the way.
At any rate the file is 2.2MB and I'm too fucking exhausted and dejected to run to Kinko's (the closest 24 hour one is far...far...), so if anyone wouldn't mind just...trying to open it for me, I'd be much abliaged.
All I'd want is to delete the reference picture and save it as a PDF.
I don't know, by the time someone volunteers it may be tomorrow with me going to Kinkos, but I figure I'll ask. Maybe I'll get lucky.
