It sort of sucks that you just go through waves and waves of guys with not much in the line of puzzle or too much of story, but the game still rocks. I remember being FLOORED by the graphics, and the action is top shelf. Best time playing video games is thanks to Halo in both split screen co-op, and lan parties.

There's a reason I only own Halo for it though.
Same reason Halo 2 is the next game I'll be purchasing for it.
Same reason it'll also be the last.

Yeh, my freind and i can do better than that video.

About twice a week my freinds and I have halo day, a day of 2 or even 4 systems linked up.

we have sooooo much fun.
We,ve went to tourneys and done pretty well.

As far as i know, im the best in my whole area.
Everyone who says they can beat me, gets owned so bad.

Im teh 1337 in halo.
My favorite game.

sometimes, we'll play hacked halo, but its not so fun

I'm not coming into this thread to piss on anyone's parade, so bear with me guys.

Aphex, Hendrix- I don't have an X-box but plan on buying one soon, now that I have broadband at home. Hopefully I'll be able to swing a set-up with both XBLive and XMame so I can have the best of both worlds.

My real question is this: Is Halo 2 an online multiplayer game?

Cause I'll pick it up if I can shoot at you guys online once I have my 'box.

You know me, I'm not to 'up on things' in the mainstream 3d world, but I really do wanna know. Cause online gaming is something I'd like to delve into a little more deeply than than say 'Tribes' on my PS2 that I picked up for $14.99.

I would have liked Halo a lot more if the driving wasn't such a pain in the ass. Yeah, you get used to it after a while but it causes all kinds of headaches in the beginning. Other than that its a pretty solid game, not the best ever, but one of the best next gen games in recent memory.

As far as Halo 2, I really hope they don't neglect link-up support. UC and Wolfenstein both sucked balls as link-up/LAN games. Wolfenstein only supported one player per system for crying out loud. Let's hope they realize the popularity of linking XBoxes for Halo and keep it real.

XBL will be fun...but nothing beats a bleary-eyed 6 hour marathon of Halo with a house full of people.

Nah, a computer lab filled with 32 people and their gaming rigs playing Halo is probably on par if not better. Much more screen realestate to play with... wink

Sorry just had to throw that in there, though seriously I wouldn't worry Loopz Bungie will put in the same link support that was in the first one. I'm sure.

KA is right, this game owns all others. My whole family plays this game. My son is one of the best Co-Op partners that I have found yet, and he is only 8.

BTW VT and KA, I heard someone once say that there is more to the Halo story that what we see. Can you guys point me in the right direction?
