Any burning questions you have for Capcom?

Unlike SNK, Capcom is somewhat of an open book, with most games having major coverage and leaves less curiosity for us.

I'm sure, however, there are some things about Capcom we want to know.

Here is my question to them: Will Marvel vs. Capcom 3 ever be produced?

What's yours?

Again, your questions may be answered.

Mr. Lostcross, did you ever pick up that MVS cab of yours or you still sitting on unused MVS Kits?

Here's one I'd love to get an answer on: when will I get a home version of Progear & Dimahoo? How about Alien vs. Predator? Or even better, come up with a CPS series of ports, like they did with the Generations series, similar to what Sega is doing with D3? Even if it was an import-only release, I wouldn't mind, but just having many of those games brought home would be a bit nice on my wallet ;)

Nope, they no longer have the license for that game. I think Acclaim is the current license holder and extended the agreement through 2009.

Shitty, but true.

Great, though so we can have SUPER ULTIMATE DEADLY EXTREME MORTAL KOMBAT 19 vs. Capcom.

hehee... Shang Tsung comes back with Dr. Strange to revive Kano and give everyone fake amulets that will make you jump to alternate dimension where infinite sequels and Rom Updates happen.

(don't get me wrong, I *do* love mortal kombat.. hehe)

Yes sir.

1. Will there be another Puzzle Fighter game?

2. Why was Aliens vs. Predator never ported?

3. Will there be another Vampire (Darkstalkers) game?

Does Capcom have any intentions of a Resident Evil Online for all systems? (Since it was announced for PS2 originally, yet gamecube could easily handle it as well proven)

Will Capcom re-release Street Fighter 3 for PS2/Xbox? (if CVS2 and MVC2 can make it, why not SF3 as well?)

Will the Mega Man series never end? Why didnt we get the PSX remakes like Japan did of MM 1-6?

Why couldn't Capcom remake Resident Evil 2 and 3? I could have waited for those, not just a port. We all know Resident Evil 2 was the "messiah" of the series and i thought it would have deserved a serious make over.

Clock Tower 3. Can Capcom really improve this series that hardly nobody remembers now? I hope so. Clock Tower 1 and 2 were so damn trippy back in the day.

Devil May Cry 2. Soon to arrive, but many said the first was too short. Hopefully this is longer (Some of you, who have had imported this title should know the answer already)

Should capcom try again at a Maximo 2? I loved the game, but the loading speed got on my nerves.

Capcom, will Street Fighter 4 be here this year?

Will you're Capcom All-Star 3d fighter come to US Arcades/Consoles?

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure 5, what happened to part 3 and 4? (Or is it some pun for the game title?)

Will you try to port Breath of Fire 3 for GBA?

How about Demon's Crest for GBA? Will you EVER resurrect the Gargoyle's Quest series? Been long gone for years!

Actually, Acclaim doesn't own exclusive rights, if they did MvC2 would not be released on X-Box and PS2. Marvel, at one point, near bankruptcy got smarter and didn't give anyone exclusive rights to it's characters. As you will soon see, I will release a confirmed statement by Capcom explaining the whole Marvel licensing issue.

-tell them to port street fighter 3 games to PS2

-tell them to make a 2D mega man game for PS2 (or should I say gameS)

-tell them to let Maximo 2's gameplay faster with more action

-tell them to fuck the RE exclusive deal with N and start making RE games for PS2

and tell them that I love Devil May Cry

This I asked many years ago. It was simply because it do mediocre in the arcades and during this time, there was no home console that could handle all the sprites at one time, which is key to this game for it's intensity. Most systems seem to choke on the 2-D intensity. One of my favorite games, BTW. It's sitting in my cab right now:

Today, A v. P may not sell well on the newer systems only because the title is so old and the franchise is pretty much dead.

Well, I believe ya.. I would've thought the MvC2 got released because the license was grandfathered down.

Well, I'm glad they have the ability to make it. Can't wait to see the statement.

Why did Capcom create Capcom vs. Snk 1 & 2 on the Naomi and not the CPS-III?

That's all for now...

Distributing your own products is very costly and Sega is more capable of distributing towards the arcade market than Capcom is. For every CvS2 sold, Capcom gets a chunk of the profits, without any risk of losing money on any unsold hardware (since Sega is the dist.). So this is one reason why it's on the Naomi. Also easier to port over to the Dreamcast.
