Which is better: Resident Evil 0 or Eternal Darkness?

I will prolly pick one of these two up this weekend, so any input would rock my world.

I assume RE is more 'action packed' and ED is more 'suspenseful/psychological'.

Which is better overall?

And BTW- How is that Gauntlet: Dark Legacy for the 'Cube?

Go with Eternal Darkness. Resident Evil is a fantastic game, but shorter then ED. Plus I think the game has a much better story line then RE 1 or 0.

Just my 2 cents...

Eternal Darkness has like constant action. You'll be running around hacking and slashing zombies and other odd looking creatures through the whole friggin game. Lots of fun all around.

I haven't played RE0 yet but I can definitely say go with Eternal Darkness, it is one of the best games I have played in years. If you have played your share of RE games you can bet RE0 is pretty much going to be like the rest but with very purty graphics..

Now thinking of it I can't figure out why I haven't picked up RE0 yet, I've been waiting for it since it was slated to be released on the N64.

I'm with you there. I want RE0 but I still have other games I need to finish, plus my game spending has been lowered due to my new budget. Bummer

Resident Evil 0 is a super good game. I love it. The control could be better, but that's the curse of all survival horror games except Onimusha. The main character Billy Cohen is very cool, and I like Rebecca chambers over all the other offerings as far as Capcom heroines go.

But you may want to get Eternal Darkness just for the fact you play as many different people, each with different attributes, and the fact it's a fresh new game. Some can cast more magic, or take more damage, etc. My favorite player was the fireman. He would fuck shit up with the fireman's ax like it was no one's business. You'd like it, but if you're like me, you might find the painfully obvious Lovecraft references a bit lame and not too deeply thought out. But still, good game.

anyway. it's the same:

-RE 1
-RE 0
-ED

RE 1 has a lot of additions that will make enjoy it even if you have played the origenal game on PS1

RE and ED are both really great games but I think ED is a lil bit better of a game. But you can find RE for like 30$ at best buy if you live in the USA
