from the 16 bit era (Arcade, SNES, Genesis, Turbo Duo etc...) and explain why you like them.
My three favourites are:
Contra 3: The Alien Wars (SNES)
Sunset Riders (Arcade and SNES)
Castlevania 4 (SNES)
Contra 3 has awesome graphics and sound for its time and the game is incredibly fun despite its tough difficulty
I remember practicing this game non stop when I first bought it and to this day I still have not finished it on it´s hardest setting. I always loved Sunset Riders in the arcade and being that the SNES version was pretty accurate compared to the coin-op I like them both. While not graphically superior to Contra 3, it is just as fun with some very challenging bosses. There was a Genesis Sunset Riders, however it is not like the coin-op. But it is a good game in it´s own right. Castlevania 4 is still an amazing game despite it being a little outdated compared to the awesome GBA titles. However, this game still stands out as one of the great original SNES games. The games action starts off a little slow, but after a couple of levels it picks up the action and can be quite challenging. The music is still very impressive today.
