Any Parodius Fans out there?

I've always dug the Parodius series. First one I played was the Super Fami edition of the first Parodius game, then later on I got the Deluxe Pack and Sexy Parodius for the Saturn. They're all really solid shooters with a lot of fun moments.

The running commentary and disco hits of Real condition chat Parodius (or whatever u think its called) is totally hilarious.

On Super Famicom and saturn n PSX too i believe.

Parodius is great.
I like any extension of my fave shooter series, Gradius. Even if it is a mockery.

I especially dig the remixed [goofily] tunes from Gradius...awesome stuff. I traded my Deluxe pack to SNK4Ever...

I really love Parodius, Got it on Saturn and SNES.

I think its a truly great series, even though it's "Gradius on crack".

The first game, DA!, has some really great music (Love the theme to the stage with the giant volcanoes).]

So do what I did, buy the soundtrack!

Hell yeah! love Parodius, got addictive to the 2nd one on SFC, with Kid Dracula and Goemon in it, still a bummer they took them out of the Saturn/PSX edition of the same game

But it's still crazy, funny, and a sweet soundtrack.

The Parodius games are cool but my favorite is *Sexy Parodius* for Sega Saturn. Innocent but naughty enough for my barbarian self <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[LOL]" />

I consider it as the best shooter series ever in my book. Closely followed by the more well known classics.

I love everything about Parodius, the music, graphics, colors, originality, jokes and fantasy characters. It's all combined in a very solid and playable game. Besides that I never grow tired of it.
