Why is belly-button fluff always blue?
I mean, you can be wearing the most pearly-white shirt and the stuff will still be blue.
Where does the blue dye come from?
Is there a little blue-dye factory right behind your belly-button?
I just thought I'd ask seeings as its a lot more interesting than this sales report....

Reuters reported the performance of the 3 console systems during the Christmas season of 2002 in Europe. Sony PlayStation 2 is still taking the lead in the market, with approximate 6 million units sold in December. Nintendo GameCube is placed on the 2nd, sold 1.5 million units; and Xbox is closely behind with 1.4 million units sold. For the portable system, GameBoy Advance has also sold 3 million units.

As usual, being a bit of a GCN fan I feel obliged to point out that the Xbox has had a couple months head-start on the GCN and is still behind.
Flame away! :D

EDIT - Forgot to mention that the quote is from www.the-magicbox.com

From what I have seen, Xbox sales weren't hot at all over here, in that perspective these figures seem to be correct. They added Halo to the "Xbox XXL pack" they were selling before xmas, together with JSRF and Sega GT 2k2, but that didn't help either.

Did I tell you that my girl gave me an Xbox for xmas? She's such a sweet lil' lady, isn't she. One more console, and finally I got a DVD player that way... the Xbox remote looks quite ugly, but so what, it works.

Now, where's Panzer Dragoon Orta...

Good question

Do Console sales really matter if you enjoy the console you have?

funny how the only good release around Christmas that every kid wanted was GTA VC, which came out before December, and for the PS2.

When the PS2 is getting titles like GTA VC, which scored what, 40% for best game of 2002 on some stupid poll, I really wonder how MS or Nintendo can compete. out of 3 systems, one game get's that high an approval rating...

Regardless, I'm waiting for the smaller versions fo the PS2 and X-Box before I buy into them...

They're the Weekly World News of the video game world.

Sometimes they do have something good whenever the re-route a snippet or something from watch-impress or famitsu.

But on a whole...grain of salt.

It was in North America by quite a margin, but maybe not in Europe, and certanly not in Japan.
