The 49ers, Falcons, and Steelers all got really lucky last weekend. I know the Falcons blew out the Packers, but they are a hot or cold team.
The truth of the matter is simply that Donovan McNabb is back for this weekend's match against Vick and the Falcons. Atlanta might as well stay home and drink beer than waste money flying up to Philly for an asswuppin'.
Philly is one ugly team, and they are probably going to face the Jets in the end.

We will just have to see how effective McNabb is after sitting out that long. Ether way it should be a good game Vick vs McNabb. Lets see who gets the most rushing yards between those two.

I don't think going to Philadelphia is going to be very daunting after that. At this level, with so much talent around the league, the playoffs totally are a mental thing...I wouldn't bet against the Falcons.
The winner of the Jets/Raiders game will most likely end up with the title. Any way you cut it, there's going to be some awesome shit happening Sunday.</strong><hr></blockquote>
Yeah considering that was the first time Green Bay has lost at home during the play offs.

It really doesn't matter who the QB is for Philly. They proved that this season. Having McNabb is just having another weapon on their utility belt. They could stand a fighting chance with their 3rd string against Atlanta.

Actually it does if the QB has been out and is not in synch with the rest of the offense. But we will see come this weekend then it wont matter what anyone thinks.

For any other team, maybe, but when your 3rd string comes off the bench and wins games, we're talking like 49ers back in the days of Montana, Young, and Bono - a team so overpowered that you'd need to do more than remove the quarterback.
Football, being a team sport, is only helped by a good quarterback, but when everything else is well balanced, you can work around the QB. That's why I think this year it's about the Eagles. It happens once in every decade for philly, that they have a serious shot at the superbowl. This is their year...

A fucking men... you have to respect Philly.. they've proven they're the best *TEAM* in the NFL. They play better together than anyone else.
P.S. I'll take reservations for the parade down broad st. should any board members want to come and celebrate at my house.. HAHA
E-A-G-L-E-S... EAGLES!
Edit: What amazes me is that people still doubt Philly... THEY HAVE WHOOPED EVERYONE who was considered an ELITE team they have faced. Tampa Bay? They handled them.. Niners? They beat them with a second and third string QB. Atlanta is the only one they didn't face.
Seriously, you may not like them, but they ARE the favorite right now. Respect their wins.

It was bad how they beat Dallas both times this season. Im glad we got Bill Parcells now and hopefully the team will respect him. Campo made some bad decisions and that's why he had a bad season with the Cowboys. His worst call was making Chad Hutchition a starter and Quincy Carter 2nd string.

Talent? Don't you mean parody?
Sorry buddy, but the NFL is at its lowest quota talent wise in 20 years. The highest I'd say would be the years '85-'98.
Anybody can take the superbowl, look what happened last year. There shouldn't be any clear cut favorites here.
Though my heart lies with the Raiders, I'd be a fool if I didn't come to the realization that they're the most over-hyped team going in.
Experienced, but old receivers - a dynamic and diversified running game, but not as consistent as one would hope for - A highly accurate and precise quarterback, but only when the ball is thrown 5 to 7 yards up field, and has a bad tendency to get sacked if the ball isn't thrown within 4 seconds of the snap - A defense that is highly capable at times, but very lackluster at others.
Good taste btw Tora, go Raiders!
