Sorry: I also have to take off the bottom and put it back on, and with laptops, it's usually best to leave such things to pros. With that, I'm going to send it to a store I live near. It'll cost about $80/hr, but at least they won't make a mess of things. (And plus, it shouldn't take much more than an hour)

Still it sounds pretty simple to me, airport is user installable, bring it in if you want to, but I can't see you paying money to install a PCMCIA card! I really think it is easier than you think. I have never installed one in a Ti, I really don't like them and have only used them for a few hours at work... I am all about the iBooks, they are so small and that less scratchable white

But, I will grab a Ti today and install a card just to see what it is like... I don't think you would have any problem though,
