My CRX has 200,000 miles so I'm going to need a new car shortly. I want to get one of the 88-93 Nissan 240SX's and convert it into a Silvia S13 (font end conversion only?), but I'm unsure where to get these parts, etc. Anyone have a good place to start or suggestions? I'd be looking to spend about $3500-$4000 total next summer.

and some 240sx sites.
With that much money you can go for an S15 conversion. S13 conversion are not that much.

You can get a whole front clip for around 3k. Comes with motor and body parts. Refrain from ricing this car please.

Okay, cool. No, don't worry, I want it to look like a stock S13 Silvia, maybe just an exhaust and intake for a bit of power, but none of that 'ghey' shit all the other kids do.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and does the conversion require any cutting of the hood or anything else, or is it just plug-and-play?

Some car magazine just had a feature on this.
I will ask my friend which magazine it was.

Pick up this months Super Street for everything you'll need for the conversion (Also look at sports compact car)...oh and you'll need a new hood...

Right, great, but will I need to cut or mold anything, or do I just pop the stuff on and I'm good to go?

No custom work is required for the S13 conversion. It's a matter of taking the old stuff off and putting the new stuff on. You need a Silvia hood also.
