If homebrew ones count, I saw a very nice homebrew Nightmare in the Dark one awhile back (I'm not sure if this game originally came with a mini-marquee).

I like captain tomodays best as its very colourful and bright looking. i love the purple background of it too.

MOTW, has a very cool graphic novel look. I also really like Ganryu and ROTD. I like Ganryu's b/c it looks like it was pulled from an anime. ROTD b/c I always liked the character designs and artwork for that game.

This is one of my favorites too.

The best thing about it are the phrases on it.

Stop the "Eggplant Aliens" inventors from outer space.

"Tomaday" the tomato man sallies forth!"

I got the flyers out a few weeks ago after playing the game with a friend and we laughed a long time about it. lol

My two favorite Mini Marquees are not exactly the most popular around these forums, but to me they represent what I consider to be the pinnacle of Neo Geo gaming.

My faves are:

1. CROSSED SWORDS (Unique in every respect. Love the subdued colors and the simple font. Change of pace from all the other MM's out there!)

2. TOP PLAYER'S GOLF (something about the peaceful simplicity of this art appeals to me. I think it brings me back to 1991 when I first saw the Neo at SOftware Etc and saw the $199 copy of TPG on the shelf...I was amazed by the huge box and the great art!)

There are a few others I like very well:

Last Blade
Metal Slug
Strikers 1945 +
KOF '96
Fatal Fury 2

I seem to like quite a few of the earlier ones like Soccer Brawl, 2020 Super Baseball & Eightman.

Freelancer - Crossed Swords is up there on my list too.

However, I still can't say which one I like best as most of them are good. wink
