have not taken any photos yet, but this is a flier i found on the internet.

si-table-jp-big.jpg

coin mechanism appears to be busted, but on the inside of the machine there is a service button, so basically i can give myself infinite credits. outside is worn, but the electronics are in great shape. there was this taito model, and a midway model. the miday model looked nicer, but it had a buggy screen. pixels were popping up all over the place, and some lady bought it without realising it. I saw some neo geos. looked like a 6 slot with the majority of its games i already own for NGH. and a 1 slot with puzzle bobble. if there were more, i did not really notice. i am happy with my Taito Space Invaders.

I love cocktail table machines. :) I have only ever seen that one in pictures though. Are you going to restore it, or just leave it as-is?

i know a guy that BURNED SIX of those space invaders coffee tables when he bought a old warehouse for his new business and it was full of old shit like that. he told me he sold the last one to some 'sucker' for £50, and when i told him how much they were worth, he was  quite right too, stupid shit.

i am going to do a little work on it. spend some time removing the little amount of rust that has built up. know a person who said they will try to fix the coin mechanism. you should have seen how many new galaga/mrs.pacman combo tables were at this auction.

As for the coin mech, contact <a href="http://www.videoconnect.com" target="_blank">http://www.videoconnect.com</a>

They sell a lot of Cocktail tables and should have the coin mech and any other parts you could need.

i'll look into buying a new coin mech if i can't get it un jammed. the one I have is one of the japanese tables. I guess a few were sent over here. Midway is the one who handled the release in the US.

well, i got it to take quarters. the problem is a little bar on the inside of the slot. i think it is there to hold the quarter in place before you push it in all the way. the problem is, one end of the mechanism there is a spring, and on the other end looks like an electromagnet. the magnet is not working. so, just tape the bar to the magnet and quarters go in. problem is, there is no access door or coin bank! i'll put a coffee can in there for now. don't know what i'll use to cover up the area where the access door should be.
