this is insane...i was tired for a while yesterday morning; now i'm perfectly fine and have class in 2 hours.

It seemed all i needed to do was go jogging to keep myself awake.

Whats the longest you guys have stayed up without sleep? This is pretty much it for me heh

I think you should go to sleep man, you might have a psychotic episode like I did when I was up for 80+ hours after someone slipped LSD into my sandwich 8 years ago.

That's what i hear man lol.
Been doing some reading while i've been up; about hallucinations, etc. while up for this long.

The weird thing is, i'm not tired in the slightest. I've been playing tetris on the Gameboy for about 4 hours; so far, I've gotten 188,010 points.

72 hrs (3 days).

I couldn't help it...Ocarina of Time was a good game back then... (still is)

Without VG stimuli, it would be about 54 hrs... That was mainly caused by anxiety from an old job years ago...

All of my games are in storage. All of them.
Except my PS2 system and Rygar...which is actually one of the most beautiful and atmospheric games I've ever played in my entire life.

But i digre$$.

The last game to make me STAY UP was metroid prime.
Before that, Mario Sunshine.
And before that...wow, Sonic Adventure 2 for the DC.

I bet you i still have you all beat! In this time I've been awake I've ran a total of 16 miles!

Around 60 hours, I start having audio hallucinations after about 36 usually. My girlfriend of the time was up with me (getting reading for an art exhibition) and she took the top off her thumb with a drill so at that point we went to bed.

I'd get some sleep.

Well, because both you and I believe that REZ is one of the most amazing creations to ever grace videogames, I'll take your word on about Rygar...I was debating picking this game up. I'll do so after class

I used to do 40+ hours every other weekend until my nervous system decided it had had enough, never done 60 though.

make yourself a fried breakfast and then try and get some kip at the earliest opportunity though, you can get mental problems and shit weeks down the line after staying awake for so long.

You will be pleasantly surprised. :)
Disregard the annoying camera...and lame cutscenes...and be taken aback by just how cool the bosses, worlds, and fighting system is!

not to mention a soundtrack on par with any high quality motion picture.

After you hit the 32 hour mark, you're golden. It's like hitting a wall when you run, then breaking it and getting a runners high or sleepers high if you will.

I believe my personal record was 72 hours, a combination of Aderol and a PC game called Subspace.

Jeez man, 60+? No way I could ever do that, I think I hit 48ish once and just could not move anymore, and then I passed out four about 18 hours straight

What is this SLEEP you all speak of? ;)

I don't remember the longest I've gone without sleep (I think it was around 60 hours) but when I was rebuilding my network at my office I was working straight from 6 AM Friday morning until 3 AM Sunday morning. :(

17 days, although I hit "The Dance Of The Neon Snakes" at the fourteen day mark. Unfortunately, I was driving from Anchorage back to Fairbanks at the time and damn near went off the road and down the mountainside.

What is "The Dance Of The Neon Snakes?" You will know it for what it is when it happens to you. ;)

Damn, I've never done much more than 24 hours, although I may break that record now that I'm working shifts...

Stayed up almost a full week during the Crucible in the Marine Corps, without a doubt the hardest thing I have ever been through.

This neighbor of mine married this fat ugly bitch who already had two kids and he was only 25. He's 27 now and his hair is COMPLETELY GREY. I guess he stayed up too long one time and crashed his car on the way to work one morning because he fell asleep behind the wheel.

LMFAO, just don't do any driving.

My personal best is prolly like 32 hours. No reason to stay up much longer than that unless you are trying to be cool. <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[LOL]" />

I don't gotta try though. *moonwalks on his head. no hands. no feet*
