All "big red" cabs are the same, right?

If I were to purchase one with a 1 slot board, I could replace it with a 2 or 4 slot later, right? Just want to make sure.

yes, they are all pretty much the same, except for a 2, 4, or 6 slot board you need to make sure it has a select button.
This is very easy to install if you dont have one.

I hear that the dedicated 6 slot ones are bigger, but those seem to be pretty hard to come by compared to the other ones

Yes the 6 slot Dedicated machines are Wider then the 4 slots.
