Don't you love it when movies get these big theatrical releases...when they've been available in the states on video for like 3 years? ha ha ha. I rented that back in like 99 at Hollywood Video!

I like most of those, a lot of them I haven't seen, however. I really like The Street Fighter, even though it's not quite as HK as some people would like...but the scene where he rips that guys balls off just can NOT be beat.

Samhain, do you know of any place (or do you know IF they even make them) where you can score some good kf DVDs????

I'm in FULL DVD mode these days.

94? Hmm..even longer than I thought.

I'm not a huge eBay fan, I'd rather get them new if I can (I would buy them new on eBay of course). Let me know if you ever come across a nice specialty store in your travels.

Yo Samhain you never write I feel so lonely. Maybe I'll give your old ass a call.

Just got me a DVD player. I picked up so far
Once Upon a Time in China II

Street Fighter w/ Sonny Chiba

Shaolin Challenges Ninja (Gordon Liu baby!)

Snake in the Eagles Shadow (A good Jackie Chan movie)

Fist of the White Lotus (another Gordon Liu)
Also I got me a copy of Highlander I

As far as my favorite go all those except Fist of the WHite lotus.
Also
Iron Monkey
Way of the Dragon (Bruce Lee vs. Chuck)
Black Belt Jones ( Jim Kelly is a playa)
Big Boss
Berry Gordy's the Last Dragon
Leroy!!! I am the master! Shoenuff! haha!

Crippled Avengers aka Fove Deadly Venoms part 2 aka Mortal Combat

Fist of Legend (Jet Li's great remake of the Chinese Connection w/ Bruce Lee)

Anything w/ Gordon Liu as a monk or otherwise.

Well, I've been getting into 70s and 80s Kung Fu flicks like mad lately (Mostly Chang Cheh and Liu Chi Liang stuff), so here goes:

***
Shaolin Intruders- Awesome, hard to find, unreleased Kung Fu masterpiece! Maybe my all time favorite Kung Fu film.

Legendary Weapons of China- Cool and poigniant flik, GREAT fight at the end.

Kid With The Golden Arm- really cool, gimicky weapons, Chang Cheh is the man.

Five Element Ninja- Really good, violent Kung Fu. Chang does it again.

Eight Diagram Pole Fighter- Liu Chi Hui is the best monk ever.

Dirty Ho- Any movie with THAT title must be good
***

I trying really hard to get my hands on another extremely hard to find flick calle 'The Fearless Fighters' right now too.

My choices aren't as 'inside' as others, but here they are:

Fist Of Legend
Once Upon A Time In China
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
Iron Monkey
Drunken Master II (Legend Of The Drunken Master in the USA)
All four Bruce Lee flicks (Game Of Death doesn't qualify, but the Bruce scenes are cool)
I really liked Storm Riders too, but I don't know if it's Kung Fu, per se.

all of there releases include digitally remastered picture and sound and come with plenty of extras.
some notable titles include:
Game of death: platinum edition [ includes over 2 hours of extras and the "real" game of death in the way in which it was meant to be seen ]
magnificent butcher: special edition
city hunter: special edition
legend of a fighter: special edition
