Damn straight, John Petrucci is probably the greatest guitarist out there. I'd been playing guitar for 5 years before I heard Dream Theater, and they (particularly Kevin Moore and Jordan Rudess) made me want to give it a shot at keyboards too! Great band..

Linkin Park
Godsmack
Hendrix (duh!)
Limp Bizket (shut up, I like them)

Orchestrated Final Fantasy music (all kinds)
and I even had some Andrea Boccelli mixed in there.

Strange setup, isn't it?

It's kinda cool... The new KMFDM album is coming out on Metropolis Records, the record label that nearly half the bands on my list appear on in the US... VNV Nation, Apoptygma Berzerk, Wumpscut, Diary of Dreams, like everything I listen to is on Metropolis... Since a lot of my friends are KMFDM fans, they have a newfound interest in those other bands since they are "related" to KMFDM now. :D

I highly recommend you check out Wumpscut if you like industrial... Wumpscut makes all other industrial sound pathetic, including KMFDM. :)
