...hello rpg masters juz wanna get some feedback on this ye'ol squaresoft rpg i mean i can pick this title up now for $20 - IS THIS A GOOD GAME TO BUY???

...what kind of an rpg is this game??? is this in somehow same vein as strategy rpg like vandal hearts??? c'mon blood speakup??? :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

Excellent game, go with it.
You can get the rerelease for like 20. (like you said, you cant go wrong there)
The ST is excellent in tactics, kinda like fighting a real war. Game kicks ass.

Possibly the best strategy game ever.

It is very alike Vandal Hearts, but less linear, and uses the FFV job system

If you ever played Tactics Ogre, youllfeel right at home, both games were developed by the same team and have a very similar interphase

You really cant go wrong

THIS IS MY FAVORITE FINAL FANTASY GAME.

Seriously. I may usually say the ranking goes FF4, FF5, FFT, FF6, but really, I love FFT the most. It may not be as long as FF4 - but it's really as long as you want it to be.

Loads of secret areas, missions, characters and highly addictive.

My advice - play through the game normal the first time. Then get a gameshark/code thing and give your characters enemy-only jobs like assasin, arch knight, arch demon, etc. It's such a great game on so many levels.

It is right up at the top along with Castlevania Symphony of the Night as my favorite PS games.

DEFINATELY worth $20. One of the best strategy games ever. Right up there with Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

Hey, what about Ogre Battle? I mean, you have a great series that has games on the SNES, GBA, PSX, and N64. If you like FF Tactics, do yourself a favor and move on to Ogre.

Buy..Final..Fantasy..Tactics.

It's definitley one of the best games I have ever played. As much as I like the other Final Fantasy games that I have played and finished (1,4,5,6,7), Tactics blows all of them away. I consider it just as much of a strategy game as an RPG, because the battles are fought like it's a strategy game, and battling is basically all you do in the game. As others have said the ST is incredible; I bought it as soon as I started playing the game. No other RPG and almost no other game period has been as addicting. One word of caution though; prepare to spend some time in the game. You'll easily spend 100 hours on it.

Oh damn skippy, this game kicks so much ass it makes Bruce Lee look like Mr. Rogers! I bought this game when it first came out thinking, it's a Final Fantasy, why not? IMO, some of the best $35 I ever spent. I played the game through twice and kind of forgot about it for a while. Then I took a look on eBay one day and saw how much it was selling for (this was a few months before the rerelease) and I considered selling it, seeing as how it was going for ridiculous amounts of money in any condition. Then I played through it again and realized why it simply had to stay in my collection. It goes as #2 in my favorite RPG column, right behind DW IV, but only by inches. Hope you find as much enjoyment with the game as I still do, even a few years after I bought it.

The game is worth more than $100. For $20 you should buy it and mail an extra $10 or so to Squaresoft in reverance to how good this game is.
