Think Datel relases some DVD Region X bootdisc + memcard. Should work ok and can be bought for around $25-35 in europe.

Man, I wish someone would get to it and bring some form of that Messiah chip out.

Well, I don't blame Sony, I blame all the kids (and adults) who like to burn games. If only some one could develop a chip that just played LEGAL copies of all region DVDs and Games. I really have no interest in playing CDRs on my PieceShit2.

Gameshark2 version 2.0 lets you play any region DVD for US machines. I believe Datel is the parent company of Interact. Check on their site for any info. Sorry, I don't know their web address.

I have the DVDx cd with dongle that you need to play any region dvd (movie - doesn't work with games unfortunately).

I'll sell&ship it for $20.
