Just something I read on a report from the IGN Japan guys:
************************************
Perhaps the most pertinent of the questions involved which hardwaheir support behind. The PS2 was the winner with 42 companies including it in their response, followed by Game Boy Advance (30), GameCube (20), Xbox (15), Cell Phones (14), Personal Computer (9), WonderSwan Color (3) and Dreamcast (2). Who but Sega could've possibly said Dreamcast!? Only ninety companies responded to this question. Some had multiple responses.
When asked which hardware they believe will come out on top, the story was similar, although Xbox took a hit. PS2 comes out on top with 54 write-ins, followed by Game Boy Advance (18), Nintendo GameCube (15), PC (10), Cell Phones (7), Xbox (5), WonderSwan (1) and Dreamcast (1). Only 85 companies responded to this question. Once again, some had multiple responses.

Ouch, looks like most Japanese games are going to head to the PS2. XBox seems to be getting the shortest end of the stick with hardly any Japanese support. Which personally is a sign of bad things to come for the big black console.
Ahh well, lets see how things pan out in the next year.
Peace
