Hey all! Well, I'm kinda caught between two crucial options to pursue this coming holiday season.
I'll be returning to the U.S. a few days before Christmas and I'd like to know what you think about my possible choices for game purchases.
Choice No. #1:
I can get the King of Fighters 2000 and King of Fighters 2001, and Ikaruga for my Dreamcast, which I've been supporting for the past 3 years (I had to buy a new one last year because my old one died on me <img src="graemlins/crying.gif" border="0" alt="[Crying]" /> ).
Or...
Choice No. #2
With my current gaming interests, I could be more inclined to purchase an X-Box with a few games (no Live though, not enough cash and time to spend hooking it up) and a new TV to go with it.
I'm really looking at my options right now.
For Choice No. #1 there's the following advantage for me:
I get to complete my KOF collection and fulfill the last wishes of my beloved DC for a few more months by playing it's latest (and last) games as much as I can.
For Choice No. #2:
I get to finally enter into the "Next-Gen" console craze and check out the latest and most highly-recommended games for a new console that I haven't tried out before (the Gamecube will have it's chance VERY soon...so don't worry).
And to Devil_Gans (and anyone else who's a staunch supporter of the PS2) if the question does come up...
I'll be honest with you: The Playstation 2 is a very good Next-Gen console, but I'm just not interested in a few of the "must have/play" games that it has. I have different preferences, and right now I'm leaning towards the X-Box, but I do respect and admire Sony's little machine.

Oh yeah: I HAVE played the PS2 quite few times with some of my friends, so I've seen first-hand what to expect.
No offense to anyone though; it's just my opinion.
Thanks for any feedback you can give me! <img src="graemlins/tickled.gif" border="0" alt="[Tickled]" /> <img src="graemlins/multi.gif" border="0" alt="[Multi Color Bouncey]" />
