Don't worry about GC, the cube is actually in a dif market, the $200 price tag is the cost of the GC system which Nintendo doesn't lose money, as long as they sell the system, they'll certainly make $$ after that from games. Unlike Sony and MS who have to wait til gamers to buy a few games to break even the loss from selling the systems.

xbox is doing better than the cube but the ps2 is
doing better than both right now.
i m waiting for jet set future on xbox.
and PSO on anything... i really dont know why... i havent played that for ages :P
game wise though there hasnt been anything on
the cube. just the rehashed ssx that hit everything. and honestly i dont know of any
cube games coming of great signigicance that i can think of.
just eternal darkness round feb or so and
jp res evil round march i think.
what a drag.
i am looking forward to SA2 though.
i hope we dont see disgruntled gamecube gamers
soon like when the ps2 launched and then were
hit with a huge gap between good games..
xbox is getting games but i wouldnt say great though.
obiwan kinda sucked from what i played.
who the fuk is gonna tell me a fuking jedi is gonna fuking die from a 1 story fall?
really.
wtf.
i d say i d want gunvalkarie but i really am scared of those dam space spiders. ;/

Systems come, systems go, but there's one system that remains as constant as the ocean...

The Neo Geo is like the Strom Thurman of the video game world.

i've also grabbed the xbox and cube and have to admit that the cube's left a bad taste in my mouth...reminiscent of the n64 launch.

nintendo really dropped the ball with their launch titles. they released at least three stellar titles within the first month of the system's release but the problem with each of those games is that they can easily be completed on a rainy sunday.

once some of the larger first party releases come out, the cube should pick up some steam, but right now it looks like the xbox is going to distance itself from the cube after march...jet set radio future, wreckless, gunvalkyrie, etc. but rare's right, the ps2 is holding up amazingly well and with maximo and state of emergency coming out for it next month, it should be another great month of releases for it.

Neither xbox nor gamecube is worth buying yet.

I mean, unless you really want to waste money, in which case you might want to just send me the cash so I can pay for some extra classes.

I found a stash of them in a K-Mart. Black and Indigo. Everywhere else is sold out. Salesmen are happy to say "would you like an XBox?"

I own a cube, and its good for about an hour of fun a day. pikmin is a great one player experience. and super monkey ball is one of the funnest games ive played in awhile.
There won't be any good exclusive games till biohazard and doshin the giant hit japan in march. good thing i have a japanese gamecube. but after that, nintendo is going to have a killer lineup. starfox, mario, zelda, metroid all in the same year? yeah, that'll do. microsoft can't touch that lineup.

PS2 games (GTAIII, Dynasty Warriors 3) are sold out everywhere.

Gamecubes are sold out everywhere.

Xbocks games and systems are to found everywhere.

Now what do you think?

I don't think either are worth buying now anyway. The only newer system with good games right now is PS2.

So far the XBox has been great, considering it just launched. I have DOA3, Halo, Gotham, and Blood Wake, and all are excellent. Also, two great games are coming out in a few weeks (early February), Smashing Drive and Wreckless. Overall I'm quite happy with the XB, its a really nice console. :) :)
