I just picked this game up about two weeks ago at a local store for 10 dollars. I remember wanting this game bad when Saturn was my only system. It is interesting because this is the only snowboarding game for the system. (winter heat does not count) I never saw it in stores, which makes me think it is kind of rare, plus gamefaqs does not even have one stinking review. Anyone own this besides myself?

It has pretty bad graphics, but it is more fun to play then cool boarders for PSX. The only time you fall is when you attempt a backflip and don't land it. Unlike cool boarders, you can ramp off almost anything rock, trees etc...... Music is pretty good techno mix. Says Sega Sports on the cover. But sega had nothing to do with making this game. A third party called Victor something made it. Strange to see the saturn getting this kind of support this late in its life. I consider it a Saturn oddity.

actually, i was wrong about it being the ONLY snowboarding game. seems Zap! Snowboarding Trix was only released in Japan. Ok, so Steep Slope Sliders is the only snowboard game that saw release in the states.

I once had it. Ended up trading it for Galaxy Fight and some other game. I wanted this game for a while too, and was just disappointed with it. I just couldn't get into it, and the lack of 3D control pad support really disappointed me.

I saw no reason to play it, or keep it. So I traded it to someone who might.

And all was good in the balance of the humane video game universe.

Really, it was. ;)

Steep Slope Sliders rocks!

It's waaaay better than any of the Cool Boarders series of games; it controls much better and is a ton of fun to play.

I remember buying a copy for myself and one for my brother, who was big into snowboarding at the time. He loved it, too.

Yeah, I still own that game back home. My only wish was that they had more courses, trick, and characters. The alien was the best IMO. I didn't too much like some of the alternate courses, like the couple of stages in outer space. Nice job by DC Shoe Co. and Shimano Snow Technologies for having their products in the game. It would've been great to have had a sequel for the DC, but alas. :( I just really had some great times with that time, especially blasting the soundtrack in my ride. Yeah, those were the short-lived glory days of the Saturn......
