Okay, I won this eBay auction and I'm pretty happy with the price it ended.........

<a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1393316837" target="_blank">http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1393316837</a>

I received this game today and guess what:

1) This dude probably stole or used someone else auction picture and put on his. I got mess-up re-release version instead of the one showing on his auction

2) He charged me $5 for shipping and what I got today is a regular envolope with $1.06 postage tag on it (Book Rate shipping).....WTF?
Check one of feedbacks he has (Neutral feedback) and you will find he charged $10 shipping for Radiant Silvergun game.........

I assumed he shipped by using FedEx 2 day or something

I wrote him a complaint email and left him negative feedback <img src="graemlins/shame.gif" border="0" alt="[Shame]" />

I think I'm doing the right thing......

Heh funny, I usually charge $4.50 for shipping and I always end up paying more, like $5-$6 because I send out by priority or something similar heh

I don't know what's going on with Ebay, I won an auction, and the seller ended up telling me that his account was stolen, and that he did not have the item for sale, but he had other auctions at the same time...similar items..same type of description...and people left him positives for those....

You need to ask questions about the shipping before you commit to buying something , otherwise dont be mad at anyone but yourself !

I personnaly think the handling costs if any should be included in the asking price for said item , but if you dont ask these types of questions then the only one to blame is you !

Thats the sad truth , especially on ebay !

Caveat-emptor , Buyer beware !

Me too. I always end up screwing myself on shipping because I always underestimate the charge, or the damn post office changes their rates. I would never ship a game though via book rate. That's BS IMO.

Wow Liquid, I made the "These Guys ROCK!" list in your sig? <img src="graemlins/mrt2.gif" border="0" alt="[Mr T]" /> Kinda surprised, but it's good to know that we've finally settled our differences and moved on. :)

You might want to take a look at this auction.... <img src="graemlins/spock.gif" border="0" alt="[Spock]" /> <img src="graemlins/annoyed.gif" border="0" alt="[Annoyed]" />

Hey Liquid -- sorry about your bad luck in this situation. You did get it for a good price, but it's the re-release version (I know how frustrating that would be; thinking you would get the original DoDonPachi and then see that stinkin' re-release) and he stole someone's pic.

It's hard to judge too, because his feedback is *decent enough* to take the risk.

One time I won this Pocket Fighter auction for $5 and the picture shown was mint. The seller was cool enough to write in the auction "Note. picture used here is copied. Game's condition is not mint and some wear is evident."

Apparently that scared off everyone.

I emailed him before hand asking the condition and shipping rate.

He told me it was "good" condition, the manual has some wear. Shipping would be $5.

When I got it, he did ship it about 5 dollars, which I respect... not that 1.06 crap. And the game was actually in "very good" condition and not just "good." It was complete, works great and hey I'm a happy customer. Got Saturn Pocket Fighter for 10 shipped... are you kidding me?

Anyhow... sometimes you just need to get lucky. This time you didn't, but there will be better days.

I'll make sure never to deal with that jackass.

C'mon
you have done nothing wrong but we just have different opinion on videogame (I still believe MERCS is better ;) )

We are gamers in here, right?
We are also from Texas :D

By the way........
Seems like he "stole" that picture from other auction....

candycab and Steve, I'm okay with shipping even though he spent $1.06 for postage fee. I've seen some eBay sellers charge $7 - $10 for shipping PS2 game and those people are in US!!! That's crazy.

One thing makes me really mad is that I didn't get what I suppose to get. If seller states in his item description saying he copied picture from others but item or condition is identicle then I'm okay with it.

But he didn't say anything and picture showed Original version then really pissed me off.

I learn my lesson......

Bad news man. Sorry to hear about it. E-Bay is usually a wonderful place, but it's fookers like these that make you be extra cautions.

I got an email from the seller and here are his answers:

1) The game is indeed "original". (I wrote him back saying I'm referring to "original release", not "original copy".

2) The picture is indeed his own. (Fuckin liar, BBH found out he took from another auction)

3) $1.06 is just for shipping. He has to get envelope which also cost some money (Envelope for $3.94?)
