The music genres sound intresting and I cant tell the various music groups apart so thats why i asked here. As well can someone please recomend me some music to listen to because Generally searching on Kazaa gets me 75% Crap and 25% Good Songs

I'll start off reccomending some songs [Other Music Genre's are cool just let us know what Genre the song is before posting the name up.]

Cass and Slide - Perception [New Vocal Mix]
[Techno/Trance]

This has got to be one of my favorite Songs that i found on mistake I searched for the smooth jazz song perception and intally found this song and I havent stopped playing it ever since the female singer dosent come until the near middle to the rear of the song actually giving the listener a chance to enjoy the song.'

Final Score: 10 out of 10

N.E.R.D - Lapdance
[Hip Hop]

I swear this song has that techno feel in little parts[dont expect techno since it's hip hop] the little parts is what drew the song to me as well as the hip hop beat with the rap verses alltoghter it's obviously a hip hop song that reignited my intrest in this genre.

Final Score: 9 out 10

Slipknot- My Plague [New Abuse Mix]
[Heavy Metal]

This song is aguablly the shit to me,if i could place this song on anyone it would either be Iori Vice or Yamazaki. Yagami when he's pissed off at Kusanagi or his capcom vs snk Sono Mama Shine Winpose. Vice because this song reflects the brutal side of her. Yamazaki when he does his max Guillotine [I.E The point where he stomps the shit out of his opponent.] or his Riot winpose where he completley loses it. lots of metal well placed a must download for any metal fan.'

Babyface - There she goes
[R and B] Im not so sure on this one.'

This song so fits Ramon and Vanessa. Picture how he's been trying to put the moves on her Since Kof 2000 and you'll see where im hitting at. this song is smooth as Shit but when placed with Ramon and vanessa it has a comedy aspect to it for genral listning aspects this song is too smooth not to have for any R&B fan.

Final Score: 10 out of 10

Godsmack-Awake
[Heavy Metal]

This song to me fits K9999 After going through mass amounts of shit with foxy and having to live with the fact that he was created to be the 9999th K'and not to be a person of his own choosing.' The Metal in this song is great but i feel like it could have been better but it's good enough to keep.

Final Score: 8 Out of 10

My techno days are long gone (mostly) and I have no idea what the hell darkwave is but if you want dark moody techno Dave Clarke is the man. Have a look for "essential mix". If you've got a decent sub wired to your PC try this (not Dave Clarke). Dont know what genre squarepusher falls under, maybe life changing bass line?

This can help:

http://www.digitallyimported.com/

Trance-mellow,the "pop" of trance
Hard Trance-more aggresive, either u like it or u hate it.
Hard House-A nice blend of techno style beats with samples from house tracks.
Eurodance-Sort of dance-pop,more singing as opposed to just straight beats.
Classical-Classical,DUH!

ENJOY.

I can recommend a few particular CDs if you want a healthy sampling of progressive and epic trance.

DJ X-Dream - Trance Theory (there are two volumes, both are good)
Jon the Dentist - Damn Trance
Gatecrasher Volume 10 - Digital Trance (two disc set, very good stuff)
Ford - Trance Anthems: Experienced, Selected, Mixed
Jay Quik - Harmony

Similar styles to both progressive and epic, with lots of buildups and breakdowns. Largely about controlling energy on the dance floor. Epic is more melodic, often with grandiose, sweeping chords. Some folks find it to be a little melodramatic, but I love it. Progressive is similar in its pacing, but less melodic, with more of a focus on buzzier, darker electronic sounds.

If you're not up to picking up a whole CD, here are a few choice epic tracks to hunt down online:

Marc Dawn - Expander (Flutlicht Remix)
Ian Van Dahl - Castles in the Sky (Wippenberg Mix)
Veracocha - Carte Blanche (Original Mix)
Delerium - Heaven's Earth (Matt Darey Remix)
Rank 1 - Such is Life (Original Mix)
Sean Tyas - Enchanted Moments
Art of Trance - Love Washes Over (Pherik Mix)
ATB - Let U Go (Wippenberg Mix)
Flutlicht - Icarus
Skynet UK - Way of the Wave
Allan McCloud - Silent Running
Coast 2 Coast Featuring Discovery - Home (DJ Tiesto Mix)
Tukan - Light a Rainbow (Wippenberg Mix)
DJ Tiesto - Suburban Train (Original Mix)

Oh, and if you want to check out disco house, Madison Avenue's "Polyester Embassy" is a good disc to pick up.

Enjoy.

I'm not too into this kind of music but you should check out the group Download, they have a great ambient album called "III" that is just awsome.
