A quick note to anyone living in or around Philly, there's gonna be a ROH vs. AJPW show at the Pennsylvania National Guard Armory on 12/27. They're gonna have everybody from Muta to Kaz Hayashi there. Just in case anyone would be interested in such a thing. Plus, you can get an autograph from Muta (no word on whether he will "mist" the photo for you).

Damn, I would LOVE to see this show. Is this gonna be televised by any chance?

It seems like we're not making very many friends with that "Why do you like wrestling?" thread. It's kind of funny when you think about it.

Who cares what other people think anyway? (I'm NOT a wrestling fan, BTW).

Bah, screw them. I for one do not need their acceptance. And I will not waste my f'cking time explaining them why I do enjoy wrestling.

Smackdown! last night was the best of the year. Stone Cold making his surprise appearance as Santa Clause after stunning Vince for hitting him from behind. The matches wern't stupid like the other SD! this year cause they wen't straight to the matches. There wasn't much drama between the wrestlers this time.

I'll be there. I got a 4th row seat. I'll be there early for the fan convention as well.
I'm sick as a fucking dog right now, but nothing is stopping me from meeting Mutoh and Kojima!

Finally got around and watched the tape (since I was out on Christmas night) and I have to agree...best Smackdown I've seen in a long time. Great to see the storylines stay home and the wrestlers play it straight. Also enjoyed the behind-the-scenes stuff with Vince and the wrestlers making their way to and through Iraq. Great stuff.

Agreed! That was the best episode of Smackdown they've ever done.

I agree!

It reminded me of the Raw they did the night after Owen passed away. The circumstances were extremely sad, but the straight wrestling is what the business should be about.

I agree, this was the best SmackDown episode that I have seen. My hat's off to Vincent Kennedy McMahon and the WWE talent that went to perform for our troops in Iraq. Also having Stone Cold there was a complete surprise! :tickled:

As great a show last week's Smackdown was, I guess we'll be going back to the same old storylines and crap next week :D

Let me guess.

HHH retains.
Lesnar retains.
Morgan and A-Train become Smackdown Tag Champs.
Zack Gowen comes out, a la Wrestlemania IX and beats Lesnar by whacking him with his fake leg to win the title. HHH comes out, Gowen whacks him, takes his title, and the Zack Gowen era begins.

I don't want to give the dirt to everybody cause I'm sure some people want to see Wrestlemania XX without the spoilers. Just PM me and I'll tell you.

That shit was fucked up on RAW. I should have know Triple Gay would pull some shit like that to keep his title! This is a great example of how weak Vince Mcmahon is when he lets his family does stuff for the company. HHH will never let go of that belt. If he loses it, he will always go for it and someone else will try to go for the belt.

THEY NEED TO STOP THE DAMNED ROSTER AND BRING EVERYBODY BACK! I'M TIRED OF SEEING SHIT LIKE THIS FOR THE PAST YEAR! FCUK YOU HHH EXCUSE ME PAUL LEVESQUE AND VINCENT K. MCMAHON!

Did anyone else catch the goof when Stone Cold drove off after turning down the GM job? He must have ran over some cables when he first came in as he was pulling a stage light around on his way out.

BTW, the match between HHH and Michaels was the best Raw main event I've seen in years. I think it lasted over 30 minutes if I'm not mistaken. Too bad the rest of the show was only so-so.

I doubt that there are people out there, who will like to see Wrestlemania XX without spoilers. But I respect your decision.

I don't believe they brought back Austin. The guy walks out twice, beats his wife, and they actually keep bringing him back? Have you no decency, Vince? At long last, have you left no decency?

I suppose I shouldn't be surprised, as he brought in notorious folks like Pete Rose, Mike Tyson and John Wayne Bobbitt(sp?), but still--Austin's slowly but surely entering "more trouble than he's worth" territory.

On the other hand, I'd love to see Foley turn heel, basically punk out Austin until he pulls a Ken Shamrock job (bleeding from the mouth).

I thought he only walked out once, and that the wife beating thing was nothing more than her trying to get money out of the guy (it was fishy that she did it the second he walked out of the WWE and thus lacked that nice income).

I donno, I do like Austin though. I hope he comes back as a fulltime wrestler, barring any injury he may have.

Well, The Rock was on a few weeks back to save Mick Foley (yes, that's right) from "La Resistance." Except it's not even the original LR--it has Rob Conway replacing the "Evil French Referee" Sylvain Grenier. I don't know what they were going for with having him as an evil referee in Feb. 2003 (when he was in that Hogan/Rock match), except maybe the whole figure skating scandal in the Winter Games.

I decided to get back into the WWF by downloading the classic moments. So far, I got the Smackdown! from early 2002 (right before they did the roster) when it was The Rock, Kane, and Hulk Hogan vs. the nWo (Xpac, Kevin Nash, and Scott Hall). That was the best tag team match in my opnion that year. I also got a tape when Brock F-5 Mark Henry. That takes a lot of power to do so! One more, I also got when the Hardy Boyz fought Brock in a handicap match. That match was tight cause the fighting wasn't planned terribly and the crowd was loud, real loud!

Hey guys, I got the following off of wrestlingdotcom.com and thought you would like to see it:

"Stacy Keibler appeared on the Don & Mike Show yesterday and took the sex quiz. Here are some notes; it got pretty intimate, so be prepared:

- Claims she's had exactly four sexual partners in her life, with Test and David Flair being two of them.

- She has never had a three-way.

- She kissed a girlfriend once while drunk but otherwise, has never experienced HLA, aside from anything that might've been scripted for WWE.

- She's never had interracial sex.

- She has never been filmed during sex.

- She has never had sex in a car.

- She never had a one-night stand.

- Doesn't swallow."

I always knew she was a skank.
