I can't say enough about this game! This is the only other "Survival Horror" game that truly gives me the feeling of un-certiantly and fear, other than Silent Hill 1 and 2. Very unique, in that you use your Camera to steal the souls of the dammed that want you out of thier house, as you search for your lost brother. You gain spirit points by defeating enemies, and you use them to level up the camera, and get sub-abilities. You can even save you photos in a photo album! And good news: no RC style (copyright GregN) control, although you can select that, like in SH2.
One word of caution: It is HEAVILY rooted in Japanese mythology, superstition, and understanding of the occult. Still, it is very enjoyable, even if you don't know much about these things. That way it will just seem more, exotic.
I doubt this will come out here, but man is it a great game for the PS2. Check it out!
Graphic: 10/10
Music: 10/10
Sound and FX: 10/10 (especially in surround!)
Control: 9/10 (feels a bit slow at times, but not bad)
Replay value: 9/10 (you can start a new game with all the stuff you earned from before, plus you gain new "EX" abilities by beating the game, completing the "battle mode" that is unlocked, and getting all "quick shot photos" of ghosts that appear momentarily)
Over all: 9/10
