since i work at best buy I got some DAMN GOOD discounts on all the dreamcast hardware and software I bought. here is the break down:

new english dreamcast system with 2 year warranty $49 (and thats AFTER tax)

2 VMU'S $7. each

2 rumble packs $3 each

dreamcast key board $ 4

SEGA 4x mem card 53 cents!

dreamcast fishing rod $7

last blade 2 $15

shenmue $15

atari collection $5

18 wheller $15

super magnetic neo $3

jet grind radio $7

MSR $5

and that one sega classics vlume.1 game $7

I know there were like, 3 other games but i forgot which ones they are. I ended up with A complete english dreamcast package consisting of the system, all those accesories and 13 games for under $200 after tax!

Funcoland has Crazy Taxi 2 for $20, Virtual On OT for $24 (I got the last one) and Naki VGA boxes for $14.

Pickings are getting slim, but still very good merchandise out there. The Dreamcast dying is the best thing that ever happened to my Dreamcast.

I paid ~200 $ for my dreamcast precisely a year ago. I got one controller and chu chu rocket. (think i played it once or twice)

Anyway, Congrats. I am glad for you. *ahem*

the DC is soo cheap now a days i remember getting my DC on 9.9.99 and paying like $200 for it man it was awsome tho. turn on Sonic, WHOOHOOOO!!!!!!!! lol

I guess I should really beat myself with a stick then.
i got my JP Dreamcast the first day it came out.
I was in HK on vacation and paid $800 for the system and the original 4 game release

WTF was "JULY" anyway, i never even played it

but at aleast i got 90% of all the great dc games in my collection

Damn, that's a good deal... I remember getting mine for $200 on 9/9/99 and Sonic Adventure later that day, played it all night that Friday. My collection now includes:

I'll be getting Shenmue II import and Dance Dance Revolution Club Mix and Dance Pad import soon.
DC dying is a good thing for me, now I can finally get the games I want at lower price.

I gotcha beat. I bought a Dreamcast sports pack on eBay shipped for $36.00 I took out the NFL 2k1, NBA 2k1 and baseball 2k1 out and sold them on eBay for $36.00

yeah, free dream cast sounds sweet.

Z-man, unfortunatly we are all out (have been for some time) if we get any more in I will let you know.
I bought the dreamcast when it was out in japan and paid $350 for the system and sonic adventure. then I purchased soul calibur and HOTD 2 with the gun A week later. IT WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY! that was some of the best gaming i had EVER experienced. having all of those games while peoplehad to play them in the arcades, and my versions were better. it was like getting A neo the day it came out.

Electronics Boutique here has the Mad Catz light guns for $20, and rumble packs for $5. Not too bad.

Off topic, but my current favorite DC game is Zero Gunner 2. Play it on a 21" VGA - Whooo sweet!

what are you guys talking about? DC dying isnt a good thing. Its the worst thing to ever happen to me. I hate having dead systems or near death systems. Theres no excitement there's no hoping the system will sell well or this game will come out or this third party will make games for the system. I remember wishing so bad that ps2 would fail horibly and square would come to dc and sega would rule all. I hate the sense of no hope. I hate the feeling that its just over DC is going to be totally dead and buried soon. <IMG SRC="smilies/crying.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0">
