ViperPhase 1 is virtually unknown to many. It came out in the mid-90's and my campus arcade had this wonderful game, so I was among the fortunate ones to play it.
The game is made by Seibu Kahaitsu, makers of the Raiden series and is based on the Raiden II engine, with tons of badass shrapnel and destructive effects. To date, I have never seen this game emulated or available ANYWHERE, which is why I am going to go the SuperGun route in order to play this game again.
As for movies or pics, I haven't seen any. I am holding out hope that this game is included with the XBOX version of Raiden Fighters, but that's doubtful. It's a shame that this game is so obscure, it's truly awesome and I wish everyone would have the chance to play it at least once!
