Actually I've shopped from this guy at his store in the past...if he's selling his Genesis collection then most likely he's getting out of the game store business. What a shame. <img src="graemlins/crying.gif" border="0" alt="[Crying]" />

At any rate, this is a great guy and any auction of his would definitely be on the up and up. I have no idea how much that collection is worth, but I'm sure he'll get quite a bit from somebody for it.

Thats only roughly $15 a piece, not too terrible. I wonder what the reserve is though :)

If memory serves me right, he also had quite a huge selection of both Saturn Domestic and PSOne Import games, including quite a few rare games. If he really is liquidating his entire stock, expect him to put those up soon (if he already hasn't).

It's still depressing to see him get rid of all that stuff, regardless of how much money he gets for it all... <img src="graemlins/crying.gif" border="0" alt="[Crying]" />

Who was that self-proclaimed Genesis master here again? Let's see if he can top that.

Wow, that's a hella large collection. Don't think I'd pay $8500 for it though...

It's also too bad that it seems as if they're all ex-rentals as well. And we all know what kind of condition some carts are in once they've completed their life as a rental...

Ok, just a few points:

1.Wow, thats one mad collection
2. Did you guys see the "free shipping notice" funny stuff.
3. I wonder how much the collection is worth in Funcoland dollars. <img src="graemlins/loco.gif" border="0" alt="[Loco]" />
4. I could not imagine the time it will take to fully test and examine all those games to make sure its all good.
5. At 8500 that figures to be around $15 a game. Not bad.
6. Funcoland bid: $55 at ¢10 each. <img src="graemlins/loco.gif" border="0" alt="[Loco]" />

Considering that nothing valuable on the system is in that collection of games, $15 US for each is rather high since most are worth less than $10.

I realize the Buy-It-Now is for people who don;t want to bid but I wonder what the reserve is set for?

Still, a large Genesis collection is not quite the same in terms of value as an SNES collection of the same size.

Funkuoverland would probably give $75.00 tops for the entire collection. I'm not kidding either. They really do rip people off that bad.

WOW THAT MUCH? <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[LOL]" /> <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[LOL]" /> <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[LOL]" /> <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[LOL]" /> <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[LOL]" /> I would think they would give like $20 saying, "Ya this one has a scratch on it, can only give ya $0.25 for it"

Thats a very impressive collection, and I hate to see him get rid of it.
The price.$8500.00 is steep but thats less than he has probably spend on getting them over time.
I find tons of Genesis games in boxes at local flea markets,Garage sales for less than a dollar.
I have even found some of the rarer titles for. less than a dollar. They are never over $5.00.
I even get them still sealed.
I could put this collection together for less than $1000.00
I see so many boxed Genesis games that I just pass them by and I'm a collector.
I have a few hundred Genesis games but I didn't spend that much.
Maybe his reserve is low.
I hope he gets what he wants but I wouldn't recommend spending $8500.00
You gotta be a real Genesis fan to buy all that.
Genesis Sports Games hold no value.
When I attend the Game shows/meets people don't even bring any Genesis games.
I never bash any system.I don't believe in that.
Genesis games are just not hot at the present time.
It also looks like some of the boxes have Rental stickers on them and the carts may have that alarm sticker on them that FKs the labels up.
