Damn, what shall i say...this real-time Demo is just unbelievable...

Has anybody seen this real-time Demo yet??? Share your impressions...

I´ve got a AMD Athlon 2,1GHz XP-CPU, 512MB DDR333 and a GeForce4 Ti 4400! This Game looks unbelievable in 1024x768, 4 AA, 32bbp and High-Detail...

Only problem is I would need a whole new PC setup to play the damn thing, I'm going to have to settle for drooling at pics and the future X-Box version (which won't look as good).

It won't be as high res as a super expensive PC, but even Carmack himself even admitted that it would be a remarkably faithful port.

I'll just get it on XBOX. No need to upgrade my whole PC setup just for one game.

Yeah..you would need a crazy new set up to see it running at full glory <img src="graemlins/crying.gif" border="0" alt="[Crying]" /> . And I'm not going to run out to but a new grapics card and CPU to run it...I'll pick it up for X Box...

The X-Box Version must be quite good, but not more high detailed than the PC-Version!!! Truly not!!! :D

you're gonna need a monster to run that game. I'll say minimum GeForce 4 + 2.5 Ghz in 1024*768...

its kind of ironic this game is coming out. I am one of the biggest doom fans ever.

but.... I must say it is ironic because they did make a final doom. ID said they were done with it.

I beg to differ.

Id says Doom 3 can be done on XBOX with little to no loss of graphical quality.

And Halo 2 looks better

Lets see for an unofficial Alpha it is pretty damn nice looking. And yeah I would consider the graphics pretty damn good when you consider they are rendered in engine.

Not so much the graphics as it is the resolution.

And from that short clip of Halo 2, it's hard to tell, but very close.

Well Halo and UT2k3 look better than this. And Halo2 will be even better. These graphics arent very impressive. Let's just hope the gameplay isn't as bad as the other doom games. Just shooting things over and over and over get boring.

I've thought of that too. DOOM 64 was supposed to be the very last Doom ever as well, and that was after Final Doom. By the way, Final Doom was made by Team TNT... not id. :)
