PSO questions...

All these PSO threads has me itchin to play this game again. Is everyone here playing on the GC, or DC? If on the GC...what would I need to do to get set up(game, BBA, etc)? I've never played online is my reason for asking...and since I'm new at this, I need all the help I can get. Thanks.

Yeah thats pretty much it. The GC version is quite an investment. 50 for the game, 35 for an online adapter, and 8.95 a month to play. Plus if you want a keyboard, the only option at the moment is to import one and that will run you 80-90.

If you're getting BBA the ISP you have usually isn't a problem, you just plug in and go.

Tho, if you're going 56k there's not too many ISPs that are easy to setup, from what I know AOL never worked on DC, probally the same for GC.

Lastly, there's the fact that there's no keyboard out yet, and from what I see it's going to be a few months untill the US gets one. You're only other option, rather than wait, is import one of those gay controller/keyboard things for Japan, and that's gonna cost you 60-80 depending on how quick you jump on it and where you get it.

I say it's totally worth it though. The on screen keyboard isn't that bad, I actually got pretty good on it. <img src="graemlins/eye.gif" border="0" alt="[Eye]" />

Will the JPN BBA work with the US version of PSO?

I still play on DC occasionally. Do you mean you've never even played PSO DC online? I can help you out with a free ISP, if that's the case.
