Need help buying a DVD player.

Ok, I want a region free dvd player. That does progressive scan. Okay, so like, is AKAI a good brand? I saw some on ebay..? What good brands do you recommend..? Don't want to go over 150 though.

I bought a cheapie Daewoo about 8 months ago, it works really really well and if you want to mess with the region thing, you can (and it plays VCD, SVCD, MP3, etc).

If it breaks, I will buy another, honestly, if you are not looking for awesome features just get yourself a sub $100 DVD player. But if you want progressive, you will probably have to pay $150 or so, which isn't bad at all.

Go to dvdtalk.com forum and check out the equipment section and get a better advice. People finds all kind of good deals there too, for example, you can get a Nuon (LOL) DVD player for like $80, I saw it for $180+ at Bestbuy just a few months ago.
