Austin/SA area NG fans

Some of you may or may not know, but theres another anime convention coming up in January. Its Ushicon 2 at the Marriot at the Capital in Austin, at the very end of January. Im planning to be there all weekend to meet up with some friends. Hopefully Ill run into some NG.com people and we can have some gaming time! no gamestop here like Akon.

I'll try my best to be there, as I haven't been to a Con since San Antonio's one-time-only Antartic Press Convention back in the summer of '97 at the IH-10 Embassy Suites Inn. I do have a question though... can you buy tickets at the door or is this one of those Cons that you have to buy tickets in advance w. a room at a participating hotel etcetera, like the Akon stuff?

If I can buy the tickets without having to get a room, I'll Storm Ride my ass up to Austin from SATX. Just hope more ppl from NG.Com show up than Vishema's last KOF 2001 tournamant on the 26th of October.

you can buy tickets at the door or pre-reg. but for a room, register at the marriots website. ushicon provides a link so you get the convention rate that they are going to have. i have my room already reserved for friday and saturday.
