We've done it, we've got the Presidency, the House of Representatives, and the Senate! No more Democrats holding up legislation! No more Democrats holding back Judge appointments!

It's time to get to work and repair the damage that has been done to us.

Our beloved President said it best, God Bless America!

Peace

About damn time! I really don't like being affiliated with *ANY* party/group and/or faction... but the liberalistic ballyhoo of the democratic regime has gone on for too long, thus I welcome the more from-the-ground-up conservative (though I have some liberal beliefs) ways of the Republicans. Besides I vote for supporters of the 2nd Amendment, once that goes, the 1st doesn't mean shit. Here Here! :)

I wonder who they'll bomb first to celebrate. Honestly, it'll be like a Mexican wedding with cruise missiles.

it's still Bush, right?

sure. i'm just a german, but i really don't like him at all. imo he's too aggressive and kind of stupid. ... or at least he seem's to be as soon as he appears on any tv screen.

he also isn't a good person to represent his country and he sets way too much pressure on european politicians. he's got to realize, that we are much more in danger.

imo he act's like a child, which is addicted to fireworks and doesn't care for his environment. period.

Ummm... nothing is still going to happen.

seeing as you need 60 votes in any major vote, big legislation that was held up is still going to be held up.

The only thing that has changed is that the GOP now controls the subcommittes and the voting time table.

It's good to know that so many of your and your ideals are aptly represented now.

I think it's time to move out of the country before we implode.

Oh but hey we need someone to privatize all the state jobs to companies outside the state. Don't we?

The problem wasn't getting votes to pass the bills, lots of Democrats were going to vote for most of the Presidents agenda. The only thing that was holding it up was the fact that the Democrats were in control and would not let the Presidents issues come up to vote, especially the ones where they knew he'd get what he wanted. Now they will come foward.

Yes it's sad that Lautenburg won in my state, but we beat Mondale after all that bullshit they pulled that was more of a Democrat pep rally than it was a Funeral.

This country has been liberal for far too long, it is time for the conservatives to come in and "right" those wrongs (sorry, couldn't help the pun). Sorry to those that don't like what happened, but the American people have shown what they wanted. I expect Bush to what is best for America.

Peace

Traficant did try to run again but got his arse soundly whooped. I'm suprised he got as high a percentage as he did.

My thoughts exactly. As yoda would say: "screwed we are."

At least here in TN Van Hilleary (a republican who makes Bush Jr. look like a rhodes scholar) lost.

*waits for gunstar hero to start up his bullshit again*

I'm not trying to bait you or anything, just wondering what in your opinion are the wrongs to be righted, and what Bush will do that's best for America.

Ya know, one thing that DOES piss me off is how the media constantly refers to the Republicans as the GOP (Grand Old Party). We don't refer to Democrats as a Grand New Party, so why the hell are the media so lazy? Maybe they just forgot how to spell Republican and didn't want to look bad?
