Surely as one of the hubs of Neo Geo on the internet, this site isn't visited just by Europeans and Americans?

So where are the Japanese? We'd like to hear your perspectives on the Neo!

Why don't you post here?

Is it..

1.) Language Barrier (No speak English?)
2.) Racist toward Europeans/Americans?
3.) Don't give a fuck about Neo Geo?

a)dont know about the site

b)dont speak english

c)think we're a bunch of ignorant americans / europeans who shouldnt even know about the neo because we cant play kof or any other game

Yukuridanshi I believe is Japanese, as is (I think) Nikke.

Also, Osakabest is either Japanese or Immature under another name... -_-#

Hey whats up Im a newbie so be easy on me. Im an American studying at a Japanese University, and I visit this site all the time. I have some opinions on this topic, first of all King of Fighters is just as popular as street fighter here. (i live near Shibuya so I often go to arcades there) Every single arcade has a KOF2k1 and KOF2k machine. Most arcades have some classic SNK games like Fatal Fury Special or Samurai Spirits 2 or something. I think that SNK is much more popular in Japan than the USA, its very nice. None of my Japanese friends go to this site cause they can't read english.

Hmm, the way I know it almost all Japanese learn
English at school but are actually afraid to use in live conversation (read: the real world). But there should be no problem reading and writing something here, so the language barrier cannot be the problem.

oooHHhh Good point.

That's probably something else that drives them away from posting here.

They think ppl will spam their email and ask them to buy games for them.

I don't blame them - I wouldn't want 10,000 emails a day asking me if I could buy some guy in Osaka a copy of Jedi Power Battles for DC or something.

I guess Japan has its own Neo forums, and as the games are much more popular there, there is no point in posting in an American forum as a Japanese. Except as foreign aid.
