what is the wonderswan color? I searched for it on ebay and it looked cool. I saw a lot of wonderswan packages with final fantasy; i think most of them are japanese, but i would like to know where I can find the english version. So is the wonderswan like a snes? Where can i find pictures of the portable game system in action?

There are alot of cool portable games systems that never came out in the U.S. That happens to be one of them. As a matter of fact, there ia a cool Korean handheld system that rocks. It has a big ass screen and an mp3 player. sorry, looks like we have to stick w/ the gba and the ngpc.

Unfortunately, this little gem was only released in Japan. The Wonderswan is already in its third incarnation, that being the SwanCrystal. The system's flagship company is Square, who has released FF I, II and IV (they had problems with III). No English versions of these games exist, but you can find great documentation and translation guides online (if I have to tell you where I'd be seriously concerned about you). There are some other great games on the system that require little to no Japanese knowledge at all, like Ultraman, the Guilty Gear games or Mr. Driller. Some of the good b/w games are a little harder to come by, like the great translation of Ghosts 'n Goblins, Rockman & Forte or Pocket Fighter. The Wonderswan Color is relatively cheap to acquire these days, but unless you're pretty familiar with the Japanese language, you're pretty limited in what you can do with it. Just my $0.02, do with it what you will.
