When the Neo CD came out i use to live near eternit wharf which was where planet distribution was located who had the distribution rights for the neo cd games in the uk..

I use to love when a new game came out as i use to go to their warehouse and pay trade prices for the games, each new cd only cost me 22 pounds after tax. it was great days, i remember when i collected savage reign from them and they had a whole pallet load of neo geo cds in and had 25 disks per box, man those were good days, anyone else ever get there games cheap like that,

yes in the summer of 1996 shekhana games who were based on Tottenham court road in central London were liquidating neo geo home carts due to poor sales.

I was just getting into the neo and managed to pick up many many £10-15 aes carts. Also at the same time down at the HMV megastore on Oxford Street, HMV were selling all their unsold sealed and mint euro aes carts for £25. I picked up a world heroes 2 jet, sam 2 and ghost pilots as well as others

Yeah I remember going to the London store when I was about 14 and being amazed at the size of the game boxes!

I think shekhana may still have their old store in wood green. Definetly dont do neo now!

Yeah I was kinda suprised by the neo games in HMV, than again this was a huge games store and they stocked every format at the time inc jaguar,3dO, virtual boy etc.

Theres a new games store around the corner from Computer exchange, that sells a few neo titles. BAsically its around the back of rathbone place where the retro computer exchange is based.
