Duuuuude, wisdom teeth suck much

Thursday night I had my two bottom wisdom teeth taken out. I was kinda nervous going in, but everyone there was real nice. Unfortunately, the last thing I remember before going under sedation was these two needles getting shoved into my mouth. <img src="graemlins/crying.gif" border="0" alt="[Crying]" /> However, I was quite "happy" when I woke up but the bleeding just would not stop. It seemed to take forever and the painkillers just made me so sick. I'm sorry if this post isn't totally fluid but I'm still alittle woozyi just want to let you guys know how I'm feeling. I have my domokun to keep me company and my simpsons dvds to keep me entertained. I should be up and running like normal again by monday, go me!

Best thing that's happened to me in a while. I got all four pulled out about six months ago. They put me to sleep, and it couldn't have been an easier thing to go through. And now, no pain. Ah!

When I had my 4 Wisdom teeth pulled out at 15 I didn't let them put me to sleep. The only discomfort was the amount of pressure they had to use to get them out. Other than that it was nothing at all. Having an ingrown toenail taken care of was far worse in comparison.

I find it weird to not have teeth back there though, since when you eat you chew the food with your gums...:/

Yep got all 4 pulled out about a year ago and i was soo worryed that it would really suck. After sleeping all day and taking 1 codine pill i was out latter that night at the bar having just as much fun as any other night!! Now they dont bother me at all and im very happy about that!!

Sounds like you had a hard time of it.

I had my wisdom teeth x4 pulled a couple of weeks ago. I was lucky. It didn't hurt and I didn't have them put me to sleep. When they pulled them it felt like pinches. Afterwards I did not bleed either.

Everybody is different I guess.

What kind of drugs did they give u? I got hooked up with percocet <img src="graemlins/loco.gif" border="0" alt="[Loco]" /> After a couple of days the pain went away. I ended using all my percocet for recreational purposes though. Did they have to cut any of them out? I had to have stitches put in my gums. <img src="graemlins/crying.gif" border="0" alt="[Crying]" /> You'll got caught up on your sleep.

I had all 4 taken out about 2 years ago. I didn't get put out for it at all. I stayed awake for the entire thing.

I had all four taken out about 10 days after my 15th birthday. I had absolutely no problem at all afterwards. Just slight bruising on both my cheeks. I stayed in bed the first day with two ice packs on both sides of my mouth. It hurt just a little bit and I didn't really like the feeling the pain pills gave me, but it wasn't nearly as bad as I expected it to be.

My Mom was cool, she bought me a couple of cheese burgers from Mcdonalds and cut them up in tiny pieces for me. It only hurt when I laughed after the next few days.

After I got my stitches out I had these huge holes where my Wisdom teeth were. They didn't close for a long time. About 2 or 3 years.

I've had all four of mine cut out. I was given anesthetic before the operation, but I wasn't totally out... I could hear bits and pieces of converstation during the operation, and it seemed to last only 5 minutes. Very strange.

mine were impacted, and i had all four removed. it was weird cause for a few hours afterward i couldn't tell where my lips were.

Here is a tip that will help you guys. After your surgery drink plenty of fluids, water most of all. My brother didn't drink enough fluids after his surgery and he ended up getting dry sockets. Very painfull. He had a really bad time with it.

When I was in High school, I went to have all 4 pulled at once.When the dentist went in to do the work,he found there was one side that had 3 in one spot.So I really had 6 pulled out all at once.He said he had heard of such a thing but never seen it before.It's such a rare thing he sent my teeth to some dentist institute in Boston

Mine are impacted on the bottom.

They should come out in the next few months or so.
Im not good with pain, so im getting heavily sedated before they cut me.

Uggh, thats going to suck when they do it.

I had them pulled out, and I was sedated and the whole bit, and the immediate pain wasn't too bad, but about 2 weeks later, I got a terrible infection that hurt way worse then the rest of it. Oi. bad times...
