You might want to change the name of this thread, I was a bit scarred to click on it.

And yes it is big.

What the hell, when you get your copy? Hmmm, maybe it will arrive today.

Sept. 21st-- Kinda early for an issue to arrive!

Anyone remember EGM issues 64 and 65? Issue 64 had Doom for 32X on the cover and was 386 pages. And issue 65 was their biggest issue ever! It had X-men for SNES on the cover and had a massive 402 pages.

Just curious but what is on the cover for this month's issue?

Oh yeah. My brother threw those issues away in 1997 though -- the bastard. I loved reading 64 and 65 back in 1994 when it came out. The DooM feature in 64 (Jaguar system right?) was so juicy I read it front and back like ten times over.

The X-Men issue was massive, bigger than a small town phone book EGM once joked.

No new issue for me today. Probably Monday.

I got a question though... I hope you guys get it for the pics and not for the article paid by the companies producing the games. I hate EGM for the content but love the pics (just like Playboy :D )

I have both issues sitting right next to me and on issue 64 on the bottom of the page it says "Sega's 32X Blaster!

Sorry to here that your brother threw yours away Steve. It sucks when stupid family members throw away or sell game related stuff because they don't know any better. Case in point, my Father selling my Samurai Shodown 3 AES cart because he needed GAS MONEY!!! He sold it at a shop for, get this, 10 bucks!!! I screamed at him when I found out and he had this shocked look and said but wasn't it just an old Atari cartridge?

That one still hurts to think about!

Ouch! Reminds me of when my good friend got rooked himself. He has this gorgeous G.I. Joe collection tucked away in a little box. Anyhow he went to play baseball with his friends one day, came home and found out his own mother threw it away on accident.

Apparently the trash was already 'taken away' so there was no chance to get it back.

He had like 20-30 figures... I remember him crying and bitching about that for YEARS.

Yeah it sucks when YOUR OWN blood throws away something you treasure. That's why nowadays I keep all my good shit in my room and no one can lift anything from my room without asking or telling me first.
