PS2 is tops!

I've been known to bash the PS2 from time to time. I still think that the hardware is not what is should be and is not well constructed. Sony needs to address the durability problems.

But, recently there have been a slew of new games for the system that I think are just awesome. Recently, I've been playing Socom and although my first experiences with that game were less-than-stellar I'm really starting to get into it and love.

After that is Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2. That game rocks!

The PS2 really has been home to some great games and original content like GTA3, etc.

Just thought I'd give credit where credit is due.

I think it's by far the best system out there right now. The Gamecube could start kicking some major ass too pretty soon here, though.

It's all about the games. Each system has good games on it, some more so than others.

I spend more time with my Neo than any of the new stuff though.

A final thought: I can imagine this thread turning into a SPAM fest for some of the more system biased members on the forum, assuming they see it. I give it a few days before it's in the war room.
