Well it seems that the initial American art will grace the cover. The fake that was released a few weeks back wasn't to far off. Just a side note Microsoft is supposedly the distributing for Shenmue 2 and not SEGA.

even some of the greatest games have the worst possible box art.. Gotta love it. :)

Probably, all the new trailers at xbox.com are in english with the same craptastic voice actors from the first game.

note: I liked the voice acting in the 1st Shenmue, and I prefer dubs over subs anyday.

As fucking horrible as it is, it sort of reminds me of the old SEGA of America box art jobs for Strider, PS2, 3, 4, etc that graced us so often in the all mighty Genesis days.

Thing is though, the Euro and Jap DC arts are better, but it's not saying a lot, y'know.

Regardless, it is a kick ass game and those of you who didnt take the chance on the Euro DC release or even the DC as a system, should check this game out.

The last half of the game is probably the most unique experience in gaming I have ever had. This is coming from a guy who rarely plays these types of games, too, so take it as you may.

Please, try it out.

Shenmue 2 is collecting dust also......

Dubbing? Crappy looking depiction of someone who I suspect is supposed to be Ryo? Thank god for the Dreamcast :)

The spine and back are great. If they just un-uglied Shenhua...

Anyways, besides the dubbing, anyone know what's different about the X-box version?

The "fake" art is actually a poster that they have at the area EB store. It's at the front desk where the cashier is and the poster advertises the upcoming hint book...

Maybe it's not as fake as people think..
